Dawn Chan is the International Business Director at the South China Morning Post, a global news media company that has reported on China and Asia for more than a century.
Dawn joined SCMP in 2018 and leads Advertising and Marketing Solutions’ international team from Singapore, driving commercial growth and revenue generation. As a media industry veteran and IAB SEA+India committee member, Dawn is a highly experienced business leader who brings deep knowledge of innovative advertising and content solutions to media publishing. She previously held leadership roles as LinkedIn’s Marketing Solutions’ regional Head of Core & Emerging, and co-founded a mobile video startup with teams across Vietnam and Singapore. Prior to that, Dawn led the core Finance vertical at Dow Jones’ Global Consumer Group in Hong Kong and was part of the pioneer team that started Marketing magazine in 2003 and grew its regional presence in her role as Regional Sales Director.
In her free time Dawn enjoys travelling and spending time with her rowdy family and grumpy cat.
