HTC worked in partnership with Accuen and TVTY to launch a ‘moment marketing’ campaign to support the launch of its new M9 smartphone. The campaign meant HTC could automatically synchronise its digital marketing campaigns with the most relevant offline moments. For HTC, these moments were during its own TV ads; when its competitors’ TV ads were being aired; and at key in-game moments during Champions League matches. The campaign saw outstanding results. Specifically, a 100% increase in click through rates and a 47% reduction in cost per clicks. Abbie Oguntade, Global Marketing Director at HTC, described these results as “incredible”.
